Jul 28, 2008 - No, it uses a small mic in front of the LCD screen, it captures decent audio. Just make sure you don't block the mic when your trying to stabilize the camera

Aug 8, 2008 - Well if you shoot in 1080p you can shoot in 30fps (30 frames per second) witch is good for everyday shooting, but you can only record 30 minutes on a 2gb SD card If you use 720p you can shoot for a hour and 30 minutes, and you can shoot in ether 30fps or 60fps (witch is a good frame rate for fast action) So in short I would recommend shooting in 720p, unless you have a 1080p set

Aug 14, 2008 - No, you must have the LCD open, Also when transferring to a computer you must have the LCD open in order to have to PC recognize it as a disk, otherwise it just charges

Aug 14, 2008 - No, and battery life is pretty good, I think it's around 6 hours or so, but by that time you would have filled up the SD card.

Aug 19, 2008 - On the back of the box they give a chart showing record time based on storage and size. So a 4GB card will store 120 minutes of SD and 720p (30f) video

Oct 9, 2008 - Indoors without good lighting will result in poor video, you could rase the exposure to +2 but this will slow down the shutter of course. This camera works best outdoors usually, and yes this does have optical zoom and a macro focus, that is the main reason I picked this over the Flip Video.
