I guess you can say the last three periods went okay? But I was so happy it was lunch. Me and Tawnya walked to the line and got our lunch, spicy chicken and curly fries. Way better than my old school. We sat down down at a table and from the corner of my eye, I saw Joe. I wanted to talk to him but I had no idea about what? "Justy? You know you can talk to him?" I turned and looked at Tawnya. "Pshtt..Yes" I didnt know she would let me since she said he was a 'jerk'. "Go ahead.Even though I think hes jerk" I smiled at her. "Cool" I get up but then I see Nick walk over. For some reason I didnt want to leave him with Tawnya. It just felt weird? Like if he was gunna do something to her..Im not sure but I just stayed. "Hows it going ladies?" he said with a sly smile. "Hi Nick" Tawnya sounded like she was melting. "I havent seen you before" Obviously hes talking to me. "Uhm hi?" I didnt know if that was a good thing or not? "Whats your name?" "Justy" This whole time his sly smile never left his face. "And your Tawnya right?" She started smiling like crazzyy. "So.Theres this dance coming up and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" I looked at Tawnya then back at Nick. "Dont you have a girlfriend?" I dont know why I just butted into that conversation. "Uhm no. where'd you hear that?" I got nervous for some reason? "Uhm I dont know. But I got to go, see you later Tawnya." I did not want to be in the middle of that. I was more interested in Joe so I made my move. I didnt know what to say so I made something up. "Hi. Uhm can you help me find my locker? Im new and Im not sure how to from here?" He looked at me up and down then smiled. That smile was soo cute! "Sure." He got up and walked over to me, leaving his 'group' at the table. "So whats your locker number?" Suddenly my mind went blank. "Uhm. 581" I almost made myself look like a retard. "Thats just a couple down from mine" He gave that smile that Nick gave me and Tawnya.Maybe I should call it the 'Jonas Smile'? We started walking down the hall. "Whats your name?" "Justy" I didnt look at him when I answered. I dont know why? I wasnt nervous or anything? "I like it." Joe isnt like what Tawnya says. He seems sweet. "Thanks" I coulnt stop smiling. "Do you play any sports?" I got the courage to look at him. "Why do you ask?" "Cause your body has that athletic shape" As he said that, he grabbed my waist. "Uh. Well softball and a little football" I looked to the floor. "Wow football? Thats impressive" I got kind of uncomfortable. "Thanks" Finally we were at my locker. There goes that Jonas Smile again. "I guess I'll see you around" He kissed me on the cheek and walked away. I wanted to smile but then I was a little nervous. I put my head to the locker, then I heard someone calling my name. "Justy! Justy!" i looked up, it was Tawnya. "Whats up?" I said with a little sigh. "Nick asked me to the dance!" Something told me that wasnt going to go to well. "Thats great" "Soo.How'd it go with Joe?" She looked very eager to hear my reply. "Hes a jerk!" "I told you. Didnt I tell you?" I rolled my eyes. I hate when people say that. "Yes Tawnya. You did." RRRIIINNNGGG Time for fifth period, English. "Ill talk to you in 6th period." I said as I got my bag and my book. "Bye" When I got to class, I took a seat in the back. Then I saw..you guessed it, Joe walk through the door. I look to both sides of me. Only one seat was open. Lucky me, he sat there. "Hey Justy." "Hi" Joe looked at me up and down again and gave that smile. "Why are you always checking me out?" I gave him a serious look. "Cause" Then he just looked away. Towards the end of class, he passed me a note. 'Want to come to my place tonight?' 'Nope' I replied on the note. That guy did not give up. 'Come on, we could do homework' 'No thanks' As soon as the bell rang, I got up andwalked towards the door. Joe was right behind me. "Bye baby" He kissed my cheek again and walked away. Everyone was looking at me like I was dating him. I saw Tawnya and walked straight to 6th period. As soon as that class was over I said bye to Tawnya and walked home. I had to tell Swati about my first day. How it was great at first the I had to flirt with Joe and now he wont leave me alone.
